After many reschedules, this event is finally going to happen. Tonight at SOB’s, Hasan Salaam and Rugged N Raw, as Mohammad Dangerfield, and Fatz and Slim as Da Circle will celebrate the release of their new LP’s. Expect to fill your weekly quota of underground Hip Hop with this one. Hasan and RNR both have extensive back catalogs of solo work which I highly encourage you to check out if you’re not already familiar. Hasan’s Children of God LP still gets burn in my iPod on the regular.
Also in attendance tonight will be Immortal Technique, Diabolic, Poison Pen, Math Hoffa, and some of the Grindtime guys, and I’m looking forward to some of the battles they have scheduled. Been a while since I went to one of the GT battles, but they are never short of entertaining. If you’re in the city tonight, definitely consider stopping by.
